baby shower pictures

Yesterday was our coed baby shower. Everything turned out great except for the pouring down rain. Uncle Charlie was the true hero of the day, he stepped up and manned the grill in the rain storm so everyone could eat.
We also loved our beautiful Hello Kitty cake that Grandma S. brought.
We also got so many thoughtful presents and we are truly blessed to have such great family and friends that care about us and Paige. Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday and hope to see everyone again once we have an outside baby for you to meet.

Doll house bookshelf

I have to buy the cutest book for Paige! It's called "This little Piggy went to Prada" Nursery Rhymes for the Blahnik Brigade. How appropriate for me! They are a take off on the old nursery rhymes! All the proceeds from the book go to http://www.savethechildren.org/

There once was a young woman who lived in her Choos,
Though she once had a house in a smart Chelsea Mews
So much on Jimmy,
The House had to go,
And with it, the Amex and Husband in tow!
-by Amy Allen
"This Little Piggy went to Prada"

Rich worked hard all weekend on the closet and he also hung up our maternity pics. Next he will be putting together the doll house book case and then the nursery will FINALLY be done.

Rich and I went to Target yesterday to get the rest of the stuff to finish Paige's closet. While we were there we bought her a bow for her head for her newborn pictures. We tried it out on the furbabies to see how it looked on.

Some quotes to help me mentally prepare for labor, I am starting to get scared after the doc just told me Paige is probably going to be 9 lbs at birth.

"There is power that comes to women when they give birth. They don't ask for it, it simply invades them. Accumulates like clouds on the horizon and passes through, carrying the child with it." --Sheryl Feldman
