First day at daycare

Paige had her first day at daycare today. She only went for half a day today and tomorrow will be the same. Then Wednesday she will begin going full time. We wanted to break her in slowly the first couple of days. Today she did great. We got a first day of school note that said "Paige is a sweet, content baby. Adapted well to her new environment. Bright and talkative-smiles." I posted a picture of her and Rich before they left this morning.

Rich's birthday present

I gave Rich his birthday present a week early. I wanted to get something nice but at the same time not spend alot of money since he has season tickets to the Bucs for the next 10 years. So that is pretty much his birthday and anniversary gift every year for the next 10 years, but I still wanted to get him something small. I got him a 16 x 20 picture of him and Paige. Here it is hanging on the wall.

Update to surgery

I just want to thank everyone for the prayers and words of encouragment. They really helped me stay calm so I could be strong for Paige. She did great and they discharged us yesterday at 4PM. She had some narcotics for pain so they had to watch her for 4 hours after the surgery. They could not send her home with any narcotics because 2 month olds are required to be monitored in a hospital so they had us give her tylenol every 4 hours and told us to bring her back to be admitted if it did not control the pain enough. A couple of times last night I thought about bringing her back because she would start to cry and I could tell she was in pain but we just comforted her until she able to have her next tylenol dose and then she would do much better. Today she is 100% back to my happy little baby. She's been smiling and cooing all morning and I can tell she is no longer in any pain. I am so relieved it is over and that everything went well.
